Coverage overview

This is a special event insurance coverage which provides several different types of coverage and coverage enhancements for the wedding day, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  Reviewing your plans with your insurance agent will help to modify the policy as per the insured's needs. The following activities are not eligible for a Travelers Wedding Insurance : rides, mechanical devices, inflatable recreational devices, dunk tanks, bungee operations/equipment, petting zoos, live animals, water sports, fireworks, pyrotechnics, or flammable sky lanterns.

General guidelines

In most states, the policy issue date must be at least 1 day before the event date and an insured cannot cancel the policy after purchase.  Policies with Liability Coverage have an extended event date for purposes of liability coverage only. Liability coverage until 2:00 am Standard Time on the day after the actual day of the event at the planned location makes the those in charge of the celebration breath easier.
